Hi all, with the resent development with the Pandora Battery, I thought it would be a good idea to offer a free unbricking service that anyone can sign up to.

Seeing as a spare battery is pritty much required for doing this, I thought it would be a good idea for those of us with spare batteries to use one of the batteries to help everyone.

I hope that we can get plenty of people signing up from all over the world so that everyone is within travelling distance of someone who can unbrick.

If I get a good outcome I may make a list on my website that can be checked out.

As always donations are acceptable to help foot the cost of the battery, but its not required.

Edit: I've had quite a lot of people wishing to be part of this, so I've made a list on my website, if we get enough people I will probably sort out into order of country or something so its a little easier to use.

[Note from Fanjita: It is unlikely to be legal to supply the memory stick to other people. If you are concerned about legality, then it would be unwise to advertise in public that you are creating memory sticks for others. Downgrading for people is likely to be much more legally permissible. I am not a lawyer, so please make your own judgements.]

Just tested it on my PSP with a broken screen, so mine works, guess I'll sign up.

Location: Zele, Dendermonde or Lokeren, Belgium
Times: Almost any day, in between jobs atm, just contact me and i'll let you know
Notes: I'm not responsible in case it would brick your PSP during downgrade (you never know) I live in Zele so you best come to my place, i'm willing to go to Lokeren or Dendermonde to but you will need to refund traveling expense tho.

I know, and normaly you shouldn't brick with the latest downgraders.
I also am aware that you could just re unbrick it then :p
but it's just a way of making sure, you never know.

true. The only thing left to worry about is the nand chip wearing out :p

well it could also be used to downgrade yes, and you never know if unbricking for some reason wouldn't work :D

This seems to be going better than I expected (I honestly didn't expect anyone), so far I have 4 people, if I get a few more I will probably upload a list for easy reference. :tup:

So far no-one actually in Texas (and my geography was always bad, so I don't know surrounding areas), but you could try Tracksol, PM him over at the Maxconsole forums, he just wants the battery and memstick and will send them back.

Me? I'll "fix" the battery and memstick for you. Or the PSP. Whichever.

I just want to battery and MS my psp is dissasmbled haven;t messed with anything just cleaning it up and so I just want those two things done

FRantic over at Maxconsole forums just brought up a very good point. If you are uncertain whether to do this, DO IT, this way you'll stop the eBay users trying to cash in on these guys hard work, we couldn't do it very well with Lumines and GTA, but we can surely do it with batteries!

Remote assistance is simple to setup. It's just a suggestion for those who do know how and want their stuff unbricked right away.

i noticed no Aussies are on the list so i guess i will help out when i get my battery. which will be in about a 1 - 2 weeks
